Route 66 Road America

Last-minute decision to race Route 66 Sprint Series at Road of America—and it paid off.

Ran KA Jr and 206 Jr. Had solid pace in 206, ran consistent, and got faster every session. We made a gear change before the final that didn’t go the right way, but still held onto P15. The field was tight, and we hung tough.

KA final got real—engine issues on the warmup lap, but I stayed locked in and figured it out. That kind of pressure? I’m just now learning how to handle it from coaching beyond just driving—and I’m proud of how it played out.

Started 27th. Finished 11th. Hard Charger Award.

Even better—my teammate Eli went 33rd to 16th. We both went to work.

A year ago, I DNF’d every race here. This time, I left it all on the track.

My A-Maxx Racing team believed in me—and I gave it everything I had.
