SKUSA Weekend Recap

This weekend tested everything—patience, confidence, and heart.

It started rough. We went through three engines before we finally found the speed I needed. Saturday, I was working my way through the field when a kart got shoved out right in front of me. I had nowhere to go and hit them hard. The kart was totaled. I thought that was the end of my weekend.

But my team—A-Maxx Racing—didn’t let that be the story. They believed in me and made sure I had what I needed to get back out there. Sunday, I was in a different kart, got one lap in before a side pod came flying off in practice, and had to go straight into qualifying.

Still, I held my own. Made moves in the heat, and in the final I was feeling strong… until the chain exploded with 5 to go. It was loud enough for people in the stands and even Kart Chaser to hear.

It wasn’t the weekend I hoped for, result-wise—but I left stronger and more confident than I came in. I know I can run with the best.

Big thanks to my team owners, coaches, and everyone at Amaxx for believing in me, pushing me, and giving me the tools to grow—even when everything seemed stacked against us. And thank you to everyone who checked in on me and my parents. Your support means a lot!
